Welcome to the hobby corner of my website!
“Don’t get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life.” — Dolly Parton
Hiking in Palo Duro Canyon! I love getting outside when I can—definitely not a pro hiker, but I’m always up for a good climb. Now, if you ask me about attempting Aspen Mountain during week one of my Aspen Music Festival contract… let’s just say it did not go well. But hey, I’m ready to give it another shot this summer!
Maybe this is just an excuse to show you another picture of Marley or my plants, but I’ve really gotten into biking this past year! I’m still working on getting better, but I really enjoy it!
I love neighborhood libraries—if I see one, I have to stop! This one is my favorite spot to visit in Lubbock.
My roommate gave me her old yogurt glasses for my new plants, and they look so cute!
Okay, by now you know I love neighborhood libraries. Lately, I’ve been getting back into reading—mostly nonfiction because I love learning about psychology and how things work. If you’ve got any book recommendations, send them my way!
Plant transportation is serious business! This is my ponytail palm, Pam, who I got from the cutest little plant shop in Lubbock. If you ever get the chance, check out Dutch House of Plants—it’s a mother-daughter-owned shop that offers plant care classes and has the best energy. Support your small businesses!
I’ve recently started making my own coffee syrups! It’s a very new endeavor, and if you have any syrup recipes you’re willing to share, I’d love to try them!
I've started making all my own coffee filming timelapse videos of the process for fun! You can check them out on my Instagram under the Coffee Highlight.
